Associate Ballet Student Application

Places are limited to just 16 on the programme and therefore application forms should be submitted at the bottom of the page by Friday 1st April 2022.

The Associates Training Programme was established in 2012, classes take place in Moorland School’s dance studio, Clitheroe, which is the home of Moorland International Ballet Academy. The Vocational Ballet School.

 

The Associate Programme provides non-syllabus masterclasses for boys and girls aged from 8 years. The aim is to provide an opportunity for like-minded children to meet and share their passion.

2021-22 Application

Associate Ballet Programme Entry Procedures

The programme has been created to complement the student’s current training enabling them to continue to study with their regular dance teacher, whilst experiencing an insight into Vocational training.

 

Classes are held on Saturdays or Sundays during term time. Students study Classical Ballet, Classical Ballet Repertoire, Contemporary dance, Drama and Character dance. Classes focus on technique, music, artistry and performance skills.

 

Entry onto the Program is by audition.

Acknowledgement of receipt and confirmation of a place will be sent by email.

 

Ages – as of 1st September 2021

Pre-Junior Level 0 Ages 8-10 School years 4-6

Junior Level 1 Ages 11-12 School years 7-8

Senior Level 2 Ages 13-14 School years 9-10

Senior Level 3 Ages 15-18 School years 11-13

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE VIDEO FOOTAGE THAT FULFILLS THE CRITERIA OF THE ATTACHED REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT.
