26 Sep Guest Teacher – Former Moorland Ballet Graduate, Joshua Webb
What a proud day here at Moorland International Ballet Academy, we had the pleasure of welcoming Moorland Ballet Graduate, Joshua Webb back into the studios. Josh is currently a dancer with San Diego Ballet Company in the USA. Due to current Covid restrictions he has been home in England, reapplying for his visa and will be returning to perform with the company in the not too distance future, given these circumstances it seemed fitting to have Josh visit the studio to share his experience with our students.
We were very happy to invite Josh in to teach Ballet to our Associate Programme students. The students really enjoyed his class and it was a pleasure to see him inspire the dancers of the future.
Joshua was also very kind to say that “under the guidance of Lynsey and Simon, I felt prepared to enter the professional world of dance. Not only was I taught to understand and master the technique of ballet. I was also challenged and nurtured to discover the performer I could be. It was great to return to inspire the current students at Moorland Ballet. All the associate students worked very hard and were a pleasure to teach.”
We are pleased to reveal that Joshua will be returning to teach later into the term and also happy to announce that there are a number of other guests lined up to further motivate and inspire our students.
